The drive through the mountains was gorgeous, and our guide Vahid made the whole experience even better. He was super friendly, told great stories about the places we visited, and made sure we were comfortable the entire day. In Shamakhi, we stopped by an old mosque and went to cozy lake view restaurant. Then in Gabala, we took the cable car, and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. Everything felt relaxed and well organized — no rushing at all. Big thanks to Vahid for such a fun and memorable day! It was fantastic. The mountain areas we visited included Candy Cane Mountain, the Jewish Red Village, and Khinaliq. We stopped on remote mountain passes to photograph the amazing landscapes.
